Q&A
To learn more about Stephanie’s extraordinary growth story and her mindset, we asked her a few questions:
Why did you join FNZ?
"I joined FNZ after witnessing first-hand the manual, labor-intensive, and inefficient processes plaguing back-office functions in the finance and insurance industries. Determined to make a difference, I started as a Business Analyst in 2011. The new role and its challenges were tough, but they motivated me to work hard and learn. Over time, I built a solid technical understanding of the platform and gained valuable experience in service, support, and production functions."
How has your career evolved?
"My career has evolved through a lot of hard work and a focus on improvement. I transitioned into delivery, project, and program management roles, where I developed a reputation for solving complex problems. A key moment was during a major UK client migration, which was the largest of its kind at the time. This experience helped me move into my current role as a Client Director in Sweden."
What is the key attribute for success at FNZ, and what drives you?
"Obsession. I’m FNZ-obsessed and customer-obsessed. Every project is an opportunity—an opportunity to progress, do a great job, make an impact for our clients, and push FNZ forward as a business. And knowing we've done a good job, that our clients are satisfied, and that we're making a positive impact in the world is a huge driver for me and fuels me to continuously go that extra mile.”
What is your approach to leadership?
"I'm committed to giving back. Participating in the FNZ Next Generation leadership program fundamentally influenced my leadership style. Now, my key focus is on mentoring and coaching, aiming to foster growth, opportunity, and that same ‘client-obsessed’ mindset among our team members."
What about FNZ excites you the most?
"Two things. We have a bold mission to open up wealth, and I think we’ve got an exceptional business model. I also believe we’re just at the beginning. We’ve made a huge impact so far, but there is more to do!"
