Q&A

In light of this extraordinary growth, we asked Frank a few questions about his role and the mindset that has propelled him to success:

Can you describe your career journey at FNZ?

"I joined FNZ in 2014 as a Graduate in Wellington, New Zealand. Through hard work and dedication, I've been fortunate to progress through various roles. By 2016, I had relocated to the bustling metropolis of Shanghai, China, moving from Lead Developer to Delivery Manager, and ultimately to my current role as Head of Software Engineering. Each step has allowed me to take on more responsibilities and make a greater impact."

What’s it been like working at FNZ Shanghai?

"The FNZ Shanghai office has undergone remarkable expansion in recent years. From a modest team of 10-20 people in 2016, it has grown into a vibrant hub of over 300 FNZers today. With this growth, my team has also significantly expanded, more than doubling in size from 60 to 160 members within the last four years, while providing development support to the global FNZ business, including working on some of FNZ’s largest migration and replatforming projects."
