Maarten Rosenberg

Interim Group Chief Risk Officer

Maarten Rosenberg was appointed Interim Group Chief Risk Officer at FNZ in July 2025.

Within this role, he is responsible for all regulatory Risk & Compliance matters across the FNZ Group and for the management of the Risk and Compliance framework.

He brings extensive experience to FNZ, having spent more than 30 years in the Financial Services industry as a senior risk executive, based in Europe and having worked in APAC and North America.

He previously held roles at FNZ as Interim Group CRO and Regional CRO for Europe between 2023 and 2024. Prior to that, he was Chief Risk Officer and Deputy CEO at MUFG Bank Europe, where he was responsible for leading the risk management and compliance functions, maintaining contact with lead and local regulators, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

He has also held a number of global executive positions at Rabobank, where he was responsible for strategy, policies, governance, and stakeholder management. Earlier in his career, he held senior roles at ABN AMRO and Rabobank International.

In addition to his executive experience, Maarten holds two non-executive director positions in banking and data privacy.

Maarten qualified with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Law, and Management from the University of Applied Sciences Utrecht.
