Group Chief Information Security Officer

Ewa Pilat is the Group Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at FNZ, appointed in April 2024 and based in London. Within her role, she oversees the company's cyber and information security strategies, ensuring the protection and integrity of FNZ's digital assets and information systems.

Bringing over 25 years of extensive experience in cyber and information security across diverse sectors, including financial services, telecommunications, automotive, and media, Ewa has previously served as the Group Chief Security Officer at DWS. Her career also includes pivotal roles such as Global Chief Information Security Officer at Willis Towers Watson, Group Chief Information Security Officer at Jaguar Land Rover, and Chief Technology Security Officer at Vodafone UK.

Recognized as a leading figure in the field, Ewa has been named in the TOP100 CISO list of the world's most outstanding security leaders in 2017, 2020, and 2021, and in the TOP200 of Europe's most outstanding cybersecurity specialists in 2018.

Ewa is a co-founder and active member of the Cyber Women Community, which advocates for diversity in cybersecurity. She is particularly passionate about the early education of girls in technology and supporting young, talented women in the field. Furthermore, Ewa holds the position of Co-Chair on the UK CISO Executive Summit Governing Body at Evanta, a Gartner Company.

Ewa's academic credentials include a master’s degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Adam Mickiewicz University, complemented by an MBA from the University of London. Her unparalleled expertise and leadership in cybersecurity are instrumental in advancing FNZ's commitment to safeguarding client data and maintaining trust across its global operations.
