Cornelia Coman

Cornelia Coman is FNZ’s Group Head of Europe, based in London. In this role, she is responsible for FNZ’s European business, overseeing operations across the region and driving strategic growth in partnership with the global leadership team.

Cornelia brings over two decades of executive leadership experience across banking, insurance, and asset management. Prior to joining FNZ, she held senior roles at ING Bank, including Global Head of Insurance and Head of Consumer Lending Netherlands, where she developed and implemented the global insurance strategy, running several competitive processes to set up new distribution partnerships in five markets, and drove major digitalization initiatives that doubled production in consumer lending.

She also served as country CEO of NN in both Spain and Hungary, restructuring the business in Hungary to make it profitable and ran several M&A activities in Spain to accelerate growth in the region. Earlier in her career, as CEO of ING Insurance and Pensions Romania, she played a pivotal role in launching Romania’s private pension system and maintaining market leadership through the global financial crisis.

Cornelia holds an Advanced Management Program certification from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Mathematics and Economics from the Faculty of Economic Cybernetics, Statistics and Computer Science at ASE Bucharest.

Outside of work, Cornelia is a mother of two, a Pilates enthusiast, and embraces an active lifestyle.
