Conor McElhinney

Conor McElhinney joined the FNZ Group Board in September 2026. Conor brings his extensive transformation and operational improvement experience to the Board, from his career at PwC, Zolfo Cooper (now Alix Partners), and most recently a decade as a Partner at Australasian specialist McGrathNicol.

Conor has extensive experience advising boards in New Zealand and is now applying those skills directly through taking non-executive directorships.

Conor is a chartered accountant with Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, a Member of the New Zealand Institute of Directors, and holds a Masters in Management Studies with first class honours from Waikato University.
