We caught up with Snehvarsha to reflect on the lessons she's learned, the opportunities that have fueled her growth and the advice she'd share with others looking to take the next step in their own FNZ journey.
Looking back on your time at FNZ, what has your career journey been like, and what has contributed most to your growth?
I joined FNZ as an Analyst Tester focused on delivering quality releases. Today, I am leading release governance, mentoring colleagues, and working closely with stakeholders across programs.
The biggest difference hasn't been a change in title; it's been a change in perspective. I stopped focusing only on what needed to be delivered and started asking why it mattered. That curiosity opened doors to new opportunities, responsibilities, and continuous growth.
What opportunities, experiences or support at FNZ have had the biggest impact on your professional development?
Working directly with clients changed everything.
Testing taught me how to find defects. Client exposure taught me how to solve problems. Understanding delivery commitments, risks, and business priorities helped me develop a much broader view of success.
I have also been fortunate to learn from leaders who challenged me to think beyond my role and trust myself to take on more.
How have your responsibilities and perspectives evolved since joining the organization?
Earlier in my career, success meant delivering quality test outcomes.
Today, success means helping teams deliver with confidence.
My focus has expanded from testing activities to release readiness, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and improving how teams work together. I've learned that the bigger your scope becomes, the more important communication, leadership, and decision-making become.
What advice would you give to colleagues who are early in their careers and looking to grow and develop at FNZ?
Don't wait for someone to tell you are ready.
Be curious. Ask questions. Volunteer for opportunities that feel slightly uncomfortable. Most growth happens when you're learning something for the first time.
The people who progress fastest are often those who step beyond their job description and take ownership of their development.
What has been the most rewarding part of your FNZ journey so far?
Being trusted before I felt fully ready.
One of my earliest memories is being selected as an MC for an FNZ event attended by visiting leaders. It was a small opportunity, but it gave me confidence and a sense of belonging early in my journey.
Today, working on a major migration program for one of Sweden's largest banks feels equally rewarding. It reflects how much I've grown and how much trust FNZ has placed in me along the way.
What are your passions and interests outside of work?
I love travelling, reading, and gardening. Each gives me something different: new perspectives, time to reflect, and a chance to slow down.
Most importantly, I enjoy spending time with family and friends. It's the best way I know to recharge and stay grounded.
