FNZ provides a comprehensive solution for life insurers to support IFAs in managing all of their client wealth management business. IFAs are put fully in control of their business via 100% digital self-service including client on-boarding, servicing, investment management and reporting.
Client-centric wealth management is enabled across all tax wrappers (including superannuation, pensions, savings and insurance products in a range of different markets) and open architecture investments (multi-currency funds, equities, cash, deposits and bonds). All underlying trading, settlement and asset servicing is seamlessly managed by FNZ on behalf of the life insurer, the IFA and their client.

Seamless transition between in-person and digital client relationships
Client relationships can be enhanced with the introduction of interactive digital services across multiple devices, spanning desktop and mobile. These digital services are designed to enhance the personal nature of private banking relationships. A fully configurable access model can be tailored to support the degree of control and information enabled for different clients, depending on the relationship. Tailored alerts and notifications ensure that information is pushed to clients as and when required. Therefore clients are neither overwhelmed with too much information nor left feeling out of control with too little.
FNZ also provides secure but open access to all data and functionality via the FNZ Open Platform API, enabling unconstrained integration of third party digital services.
Integrating digital wealth into online banking
FNZ enables a digital self-service wealth management platform for banking customers. This can be seamlessly integrated into existing online banking services, both at the front-end to provide a single customer view, and at the back-end to enable integrated payments and accounts.
Multi-channel wealth services can be configured for different client segments, including execution-only, guided advice and discretionary solutions, automatically tailoring the investment proposition accordingly across all asset and investment options.

Outsourced administration of tax wrappers (superannuation, pensions and savings products) and open architecture investment dealing and settlement enables the bank to rapidly construct and evolve a savings and retirement proposition for its mass affluent customer base.
A sophisticated front-office digital platform provides the branch adviser with on-demand access to all aspects of the customer’s portfolio and product range. This includes bank products (via integration), the ability to rapidly create high quality reports, and online analysis to provide insight into portfolio risk and performance. Any trades and trade settlements are seamlessly executed by FNZ and positions maintained via our asset servicing operation.
A goal-based view of the client’s wealth can be used to construct a financial plan and track progress towards goal achievement.
Differentiating wealth management through state-of-the-art SMA solutions
FNZ provides a highly-scalable platform for deploying separately managed account (SMA) solutions via multi-layered models across large numbers of client investor accounts. Sophisticated algorithms automatically tailor centralised investment solutions to client-specific mandates to optimise individual taxation (both income and capital gains) and take account of client-specific preferences and constraints. A wide range of tax, asset allocation and risk constraints are available.
Pre- and post- trade compliance ensures that client mandates are in continuous compliance. The same compliance layer also supports individually managed accounts for ultra-high net worth bespoke investment portfolio management.
SMAs and IMAs can be constructed using a wide range of asset types, as described below.
Single point of access to multi-asset, cross-border trade execution, clearing and custody
To support investment strategy execution, FNZ provides a single point of access to manage trade execution, settlement and custody across a wide range of asset types. This includes managed funds, hedge funds, exchange traded securities (equities, derivatives, ETFs etc), fixed interest securities and cash, in multiple markets and currencies. FNZ asset servicing takes responsibility for trade execution, settlement and all ongoing investment administration activities including corporate actions, dividends and distributions, reconciliations, pricing, static data maintenance and client money calculation, funding and reporting.
Delivering efficiency through digital front office and 3rd party platforms
Front-office efficiency is enabled through online client on-boarding, servicing, payments, investment management and reporting. Specific to SMAs, we provide comprehensive performance benchmark attribution analysis versus an idealised shadow model account. This includes the ability to charge performance-based fees.
We also enable the SMA capability to be plugged (via a standard messaging API) into third party platforms that take primary responsibility for the client relationship (and associated on-boarding, servicing and reporting functions) and seamlessly delegate the investment management for all or part of a client’s portfolio to the wealth manager via the mandate.
