FNZ & Exizent: opening up estate planning.

About Exizent:
Exizent improves the bereavement experience for everyone involved. We believe that the administrative tasks facing families after the death of a loved one should be easier, and that modern technology solutions and services can make this a reality.

About Nick:
Nick Cousins is a financial services veteran having worked for the 20 years in various banks including Barclays where he was responsible for rebuilding its financial and investment advice proposition in the UK. When Nick left financial services, he was determined to build a great team to create a business that could have a meaningful impact on the lives of the UK population. He kept on coming back to the processes and experiences around bereavement. Nick founded Exizent along with Aleks Tomczyk and with backing from FNZ, they have built THE industry platform for people involved with managing the bereavement process. It is a proposition founded on the desire to help people at the most difficult time in their lives. A business set up with a strong social purpose, to improve the bereavement experience for everyone involved.

As CEO, Nick is responsible for setting the overall strategy for Exizent and overseeing its service design led approach. His curiosity and fascination with what’s important to people has shaped his determination to build an organisation that makes a real difference to peoples’ lives.

Nick graduated from Bath University with a Bsc in Business Administration and lives in Glasgow with his wife and two daughters.
