FNZ to acquire Silica from Ninety One
The acquisition supports FNZ’s long-term strategy of expanding the accessibility…
FNZ is pleased to announce that it has strengthened its European Technology and Asset Solution Centre in Brno, Czech Republic, by opening a new, modern office in Brno’s city centre.
The premise at Rašínova Street, which boats 7,000 sqm, was officially opened by FNZ Chairman, John Tomlins and Grant Macleod, FNZ General Manager, at an event on the 2nd December. The new office creates a single hub for existing staff, supports talent attraction, improves organisational profile in the region and supports FNZ's on-going growth plans.
FNZ first moved to Brno in 2010, providing wealth management services to its large customer base of global financial institutions. Having experienced significant growth since then, the company has created over 400 jobs in the Czech Republic across a range of different roles, with plans to further expand this number during 2017.
We identified Brno as a city that has an available and talented workforce, which will ensure that we’re able to recruit the right people with the right skills for FNZ to reach the next stage of development as a business.
The primary focus of the office is to provide product consultant, development, test and investment operations resource to assist in the delivery of FNZ’s global customer roadmap. The teams in Brno work in partnership with FNZ’s global offices in the UK, Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
John Tomlins, FNZ Chairman, commented: “FNZ has experienced significant growth in recent years and the teams based in the Czech Republic have been central to this success. Yet the pace in which we’ve expanded has resulted in having colleagues split across multiple offices throughout the city. We’re now delighted to have a single, modern and spacious office in central Brno which brings all of our people together and represents our on-going commitment to the city.”
Grant MacLeod, FNZ General Manager in Brno, added: “As FNZ continues to expand on a global scale, the need to hire the very best people becomes even more essential in achieving our ambitious growth targets. Our new office will help us attract and retain the best talent in the market. We identified Brno as a city that has an available and talented workforce, which will ensure that we’re able to recruit the right people with the right skills for FNZ to reach the next stage of development as a business.”
