First NZ Capital is one of New Zealand’s leading finance houses offering financial advisory, portfolio management, investment banking and financial and economic research services. It has provided wealth management and investment advice to individuals, companies and institutions for nearly 50 years.

First NZ Capital wanted a platform that could match the service needs of certain clients. The solution was a full service platform called AssetWatch, which allows First NZ Capital to offer custody and administration services to clients for assets traded in 17 different markets worldwide.
Platform Proposition
Building on FNZ’s core technology, we tailored the platform to meet the specific requirements of the financial advisers employed by First NZ Capital. The platform offers two services, AssetWatch a full portfolio management, asset administration and reporting service and AssetKeep, a custody-administration service, both to compliment other services provided by First NZ Capital.
These services allow access to a pooled client trust cash management account in any of the major currencies including New Zealand Dollars, Australian Dollars, American Dollars or British Pounds. It provides access to a wide range of investments in:
- shares;
- fixed income securities;
- managed funds;
- investment trusts; and
- recording of certain non-financial assets on behalf of investors in all major world markets.
The platform also provides advisers with regular and accurate information allowing them to generate comprehensive reports on their clients’ portfolios and calculate tax for their year-end returns.
