Operation Manager 

Location: Brno CZ

FNZ provides proven end-to-end technology, including front-office, tax wrappers and investment back-office under a software-as-a-service delivery model. This FNZ technology solution is combined with back-office dealing, settlement and administration services as either sub-custodian or third party administrator across a wide range of asset classes.

Our existing customers include AXA Wealth, JPMorgan Asset Management, Standard Life, Zurich Life, Close Asset Management, Friends Life, HSBC, NAB, BNZ, AMP, UBS, OnePath, Public Trust, First NZ Capital and Tower - with propositions spanning IFAs, direct customers, the workplace and discretionary wealth management. 

Role and Responsibilities

This role is intended to cover the running of the Czech business entity covering legal, financial, infrastructure and accounting aspects of the business.

Responsibilities

  • Finance: Manage office invoices, payments, and manage/authorize orders
  • Office: Manage the office generally, ensure the infrastructure is set up for newcomers, and manage induction planning
  • HR/Recruitment: Maintain a performance culture, ensuring incentives are fair and consistent; maintain a start-up style culture in the office so as to attract the best staff, manage HR and recruitment
  • Legal: Manage Contracts with individuals and suppliers; ensure legal advice taken where needed and contracts reviewed
  • Manage relationships with suppliers

Skills and Experience

  • University degree in IT, Finance, Economics or similar
  • At least 5 years of experience in managerial roles
  • Excellent written and verbal English
  • Very good knowledge of IT generally
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Decent project and internal client management skills
  • Proactive approach during processing of all daily tasks
  • Banking and/or Financial Services knowledge is desirable
