Andy Laverty 

Group Chief Financial Officer

Andy was appointed Group Chief Financial Officer of FNZ in September 2010. With extensive and varied experience in both the financial and technological industries, Andy has 30 years of financial knowledge to call upon.

As Group CFO, Andy is primarily responsible for managing our financial risk, compliance, financial planning and financial reporting to senior management. He has consistently delivered substantial profit improvements through implementing best practice and leading major change strategies in new processes, systems and operational restructuring.

Prior to joining FNZ, Andy worked for Sun Microsystems, where his roles included VP Finance for Worldwide Operations, Group Corporate Controller and Finance Director. He also has extensive international experience having worked and lived in the US, Australia, UK and the Middle East.

Andy graduated with a 2.1 BA Hons in Accountancy and Economics from Strathclyde University. He is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Accountants in Scotland.
